This project invited guests to witness the status of calcifying organisms in the ocean. On one side, the thriving state of sea urchins in Port Phillip Bay (Victoria, Australia), and on the other the concerning state of the Great Barrier Reef (Queensland, Australia). For this project, I worked under Pirjo Haikola as a research and production assistant, getting involved in the production of 3D printable biopolymers filled with sea urchin shells.
