The allure of more-than-human (MTH) design is gaining traction across academia and practice. Design theorists, philosophers, and ecological thinkers are populating the MTH landscape with new language, definitions, and principles. Through different perspectives, PhD Design candidates Steven Santer and Javier de Urquijo, 'table' their practice research entanglements with the MTH field. In this informal panel, they will share their insights, interpretations, and manner of application on three core concepts often discussed across MTH literature: Anthropomorphism, Assemblages, and Agency, using the Varroa mite as a prompt for these discussions.
